The Interdepartmental Committee approved the application of the granulated foam glass manufacturer Penostek to establish operations in the Krasnoturinsk ADZ. Minister of Investment and Development of the Sverdlovsk Region Victoria Kazakova held a meeting on January 30.
The project of Penostek will be implemented at the site of the Bogoslovsky industrial park. The production facility will be located in the industrial business incubator.
The author of the project is SK Dionis, one of the largest construction companies of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area. Its subsidiary Penostek LLC is already registered in Krasnoturinsk.
The company will use a unique broken glass processing technology to produce a heat insulation material with high durability, fire resistance, endurance, and ecological safety parameters. The production process will result in foam glass granules that can be further used as fillers for thermal insulation, as well as for manufacturing wall blocks and panels.
Granulated foam glass is used in such construction segments as inverted roof insulation, ground and attic floor insulation, monolithic wall building, insulation of terrestrial heat networks and foundations, as well as container heat insulation. In addition, granulated foam glass is used in making cement mortars for oil wells.
The estimated investments exceed RUB 102.3 million. The first products are to be manufactured in August of 2018.
The Development Corporation of Sverdlovsk Region supports the project development and helps to obtain the ADZ resident status.
