Development Corporation of Middle Ural has conducted a meeting with a delegation of Harbin Economic and Technological Development Zone headed by deputy Chairman of Administrative Committee Wen Shangchen and the specialists of Authority for Cooperation with Russia and CIS Shao Yue Jing and Yin Jialing. The delegation also included top managers of Shandong Industrial Company “Jinyuan” - a manufacture of the agriculture machines – director general Din Youji, director Youi Chan and deputy director Yao Shuhua.
The company is contemplating to invest into Sverdlovsk Region and currently is searching for industrial facilities suitable to set up the assembly lines; the company is also looking for a local partner to participate in the venture. The industrial facilities in the town of Bogdanovich were presented to the delegation – Chinese partners were highly impressed by it; they will be taking decision on starting the project.
At the same time Harbin Economic and Technological Development Zone is interested in attracting Russian business to operate in China and offering special means of support for food processing and IT companies. Harbin Economic and Technological Development Zone has been operating for more than twenty years and its strategic importance has been recognized on a state level. The Zone currently accommodates various manufacturing lines producing components for aviation industry, cars, electronics, computers and much more. Besides a lot of science institutes, leading players of telecommunications sector and e-commerce operators also work in the Zone. Both sides agree to cooperate in attracting investments – in particular, to disseminate the information among both Russian and Chinese business communities on procedures to start a project, to provide assistance with incorporating as a resident as well as consulting on other issues. Exchange of experts as well the agencies planned to be opened in both countries will help to promote investment projects in both Russian and China and will contribute to further development of business cooperation between two countries.
