Representatives of the Development Corporation of Middle Ural and the Department of Machine Building and Investment Machinery-Building of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation held a working meeting devoted to the development of power engineering.
The topic of discussion, in particular, were new support programs for Russian industry - "Components" and "Conversion", - which came into effect on June 30th, 2017.
Within the framework of the "Components" program, co-financing (from 50 to 500 million rubles for five years at a rate of 1% in the first three years and 5% for the remaining term) could be provided for projects aimed to organize or modernize components production and consequently increase the level of localization.
The program "Conversion" (from 200 to 750 million rubles for a period of five years at a rate of 1% in the first three years and 5% for the remaining period) is the support tool for defense industry enterprises in the framework of projects aimed to produce high-tech civilian products.
Today, the criteria for classifying the industrial products as products produced in the Russian Federation are not formed for all industries and sectors. For power engineering, these requirements have been approved and exhaustively spelled out in Government Decree No. 719. Taking into account the new programs of the Industrial Development Fund, investors wishing to set up the production of import-substituting components for electrical machines and electrical equipment have an excellent opportunity for the State support, - as Mr. Evgeny Trutnev, Head of Energy.
Mr. Evgeny Trutnev, Head of Energy Projects of the Development Corporation of Middle Ural, pointed out.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of power engineering development in Sverdlovsk region. Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation confirmed the data of the market research conducted by the DCMU, which showed that production of radiators for oil transformers and voltage regulators for transformers under load were among in the most products in demand. The presence of Russian analogues of these products is critical for the industry today.
The Corporation highly appreciates the negotiations in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. For us, it was valuable to discuss the situation in the industry and get the ministry's explanations regarding new coming co-financing programs for import-substituting productions "Components" and "Conversion". Today they can already serve as a reference point for us in working with investors and for business in terms of creating new productions and localization. The DCMU is ready to assist Russian and foreign enterprises in the implementation of projects and in obtaining available State support, - explained Mr. Nikita Kaskevich, Deputy Director General of the Development Corporation of Middle Ural.
