On June, 12th Uralkhimash Director General Oleg Chernov and DCMU Director General Dmitry Popov have hosted a joint briefing in the press center of INNOPROM. An opening of a new Industrial Park “Uralkhimmash” was announced on the briefing; the Park will be located on the territory of Uralkhimmash plant. Dmitry Popov spoke on DCMU engagement in this project and also highlighted the benefits for Ekaterinburg in connection to the launch of the new Park.
Industrial parks which are settled down on the basis of former plants (Brownfield category) allow managing existing manufacturing facilities more effectively and therefore making it possible for the residents to cut production costs and also get engaged in production cycle of a larger plant. Future Industrial Park based on Uralkhimmash facilities will be working according to the concept “Come and work”: all communication and technical infrastructure is in working condition, facilities are fully ready to accommodate new tenants, main buildings are equipped with cranes with up to 50 ton lifting capacity, welding equipment and various machines are also available. All Park’s facilities are connected to auto roads and railroads.
