OJSC Uralkhimmash and DCMU Presented New Industrial Park

On June, 12th Uralkhimash Director General Oleg Chernov and DCMU Director General Dmitry Popov have hosted a joint briefing in the press center of INNOPROM. An opening of a new Industrial Park “Uralkhimmash” was announced on the briefing; the Park will be located on the territory of Uralkhimmash plant. Oleg Chernov presented a concept of the Park and answered questions of mass media reporters. Dmitry Popov spoke on DCMU engagement in this project and also highlighted the benefits for Ekaterinburg in connection to the launch of the new Park.


Industrial parks which are settled down on the basis of former plants (Brownfield category) allow managing existing manufacturing facilities more effectively and therefore making it possible for the residents to cut production costs and also get engaged in production cycle of a larger plant. Future Industrial Park based on Uralkhimmash facilities will be working according to the concept “Come and work”: all communication and technical infrastructure is in working condition, facilities are fully ready to accommodate new tenants, main buildings are equipped with cranes with up to 50 ton lifting capacity, welding equipment and various machines are also available. All Park’s facilities are connected to auto roads and railroads.


OJSC Uralkhimmash manufactures equipment for Chemical and Petrochemical sectors, Oil&Gas downstream sector, Ferrous and Non-ferrous metallurgy, Energy sector including Nuclear one as well as Construction industry. Uralkhimmash is certified to produce pressure vessels under requirements of ASME code (Section VIII Chapter 1, mark “U” and Section VIII Chapter 2, mark “U2”). Uralkhimmash also holds the certificates ASME, ISO 9001 and STO Gazprom as well as International Certificate OHSAS 18001 and SMK Certificate allowing military manufacturing according to GOST RB 0015-002-2012. Uralkhimmash is a strategic partner of Gazprom.
