The business breakfast “Timber Industry of Russia: Business Season 2017. New Regulations of the Industry, New Opportunities and Ideas for Development” will take place on 15th of February in Moscow. The business breakfast will be organized by the Government of Sverdlovsk Region, Development Corporation of Middle Ural and the Union of Timber Manufacturers and Exporters of Russia.
As Mr. Yury Kuznetsov, Deputy Director General of the “STOD” LLC puts it, the “STOD” company has created the largest factory in Europe to produce OSB and LVL beams. During the business breakfast I will highlight problems we have been facing while developing the project. Also It would be good to discuss the export potential of the products manufactured in Russia and the new technologies utilized for production of wood panels. STOD is a rapidly developing company of the Timber sector - we do support such events because they are very useful for exchange of opinions and building a dialogue with the Regulator”.
Representatives of the Kastamonu (“Kastamonu Marketing and Trade” LLC) will discuss their experience of developing the manufacturing in Russia.
In the framework of the business breakfast the participants plan to discuss government regulations and measures of the State support for developing investment projects, possible updates in the legislation, attractiveness of the Timber sector of Russia for foreign investors and new industry trends.
Keynote presentations of the Vice President of the Union of Timber Manufacturers and Exporters of Russia Mr. Andrey Frolov, senior consultant of Poyry consulting company Mr. Alexey Beschastnov and the Head of the Department of the Chemical, Technological and Timber sectors of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation will also take place during the business breakfast.
