Development Corporation of Middle Ural has summarized the results of International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM-2016 as well the Third Russia-China Expo. These two events brought new partnerships with Free Economic Zones in China and UAE, new prominent resident to join Bogoslovsky Industrial Park in the town of Krasnoturinsk, Chinese HILONG industrial company will continue to localize its manufacturing in the region, besides new Industrial Park will be founded in Sverdlovsk Region.
During the first day of INNOPROM Development Corporation of Middle Ural has signed a Memorandum on Cooperation with Free Trade Zone of Emirate Ras-Al-Khaimah (UAE) – RAK FTZ. According to this agreement Sverdlovsk Region and RAK FTZ will promote each other as business-friendly environments to companies both in Russia and UAE. Both parties will facilitate international contacts and provide consultations and support to companies of two countries in acquiring a resident status.
In the framework of the Agreement with Harbin Technical and Economic Development Zone signed on June 12th, DCMU and its Chinese partner will work together in attracting investments – they will disseminate information among Russian and Chinese companies on how to launch business projects in China and Russia, consult on company registration procedures and provide consular support. Another agreement aiming to promote bilateral trade relations between Russian and China has been signed between DCMU and Russia Food House llc - the company which is going to support regional food exporters to China.
Chinese HILONG Industrial Group’s subsidiary Technomash llc confirmed to DCMU it will further localize its manufacturing of pipes for Oil&Gas industry. Earlier Chinese holding has launched new production line in the town of Nevyansk to cover drilling pipes with special high tech surface coating. The holding is also planning to manufacture thick-walled and weighted drilling pipes, the locks for it along with chemicals for internal surface coating of oil pipes. These new production lines could be set up by Technomash llc as soon as in 2017. The investments will be approximately 20 million dollars.
Besides DCMU and OJSC plant Uralhimmash jointly announced on June 13th that new Industrial Park will be founded on the territory of Uralhimmash. The park will occupy the area of two workshops previously utilized for mass production. Modernization program adopted by the plant allowed to release this 50 sq. meter area industrial facility equipped with all necessary infrastructure. The companies specializing in petrochemistry and steelwork manufacturing are potential residents of a new Park. Also The Park Management Company will be formed soon.
On last day of the Exhibition Development Corporation of Middle Ural which is also managing Bogoslovsky Industrial Park has signed an important agreement with Inferkom-Ural llc to build new eco-friendly metallurgical plant to produce manganese alloys, the plant will be located in Bogoslovsky Park. Manganese is in high demand by Russian metallurgical industry, almost 100% of it is currently being imported – the project is aiming to substitute this import. The manufacturing process here will be using new unique method – it will not require melting furnace, instead it will be based on chemical reaction in water environment and thus making entire production cycle to be environmentally friendly.
